


State Economic Development Corporation (PKINK) consists of management team who are responsible to lead the company and focuses to the strategic plan in order to bring the success of the organization. PKINK consist of nine departments and there are two main sections divided which are for the Corporate Affairs and Planning & Development (Portal Rasmi Perbadanan kemajuan Iktisad Negeri Kelantan, 2014). The chart above shows the Organizational Chart at Perbadanan Kemajuan Iktisad Negeri Kelantan (PKINK). They are:Ī corporate body responsible for leading the development and growth of the State of the principles of Islam, to the well-being of the Ummah PKINK also have their own mission and vision in order to ensure the development of its company. PKINK will remain adaptive to the changing socio-economic environment and will continue to strengthen its core activities while being fully committed towards working for the well-being of Kelantan society as a whole PKINK's accomplishments to date provide a great deal of pride and satisfaction to the people of Kelantan. In addition to that, Its activities covers various industries and among the most prominent ones being agriculture, forestry development, construction, property management, plantation, hotel and tourism, media advertising, aquaculture, financial services, healthcare, mining and oil & gas industry. The organization has experienced a tremendous growth from its modest origins to become a holding corporation to 36 subsidiaries with a total work force of more than a thousand people.

PKINK is in charged with the task of planning and implementing development activities on behalf of the State Government and creating job and business opportunities for the people of Kelantan. Within a short period, PKINK has become the main driving force in spearheading Kelantan's economic development. The establishment of PKINK is on 1966 and it was begun operating since 10 November 1969 with an initial launching grant of RM1.40 million from the State Government. Perbadanan Kemajuan Iktisad Negeri Kelantan is a corporate body responsible for leading the development and growth of the State based on Islamic principles for the well-being of the Ummah.
